Besides private practice, I have been working as a psychotherapist/art psychotherapist with diverse client groups in the NHS and in the charity sector offering short and long-term therapy.  I help clients who struggle with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, panic attacks, insomnia and issues around self-worth.  Many of my clients have experienced relational trauma in their life, including abuse, neglect and abandonment in childhood, the death of a loved one and difficult breakups from partners.

I am originally from Germany but have lived in the UK for over 30 years. I was inspired to become a psychotherapist by my own very positive experience of being a client in long-term therapy, navigating big life changes and the complexity of relationships.  My work is further supported and underpinned by my joy in learning and understanding more, what it is to be human. I have always been inspired by art and its potential to make us see more and feel deeper, and making my own art is important to me.

I trained for four years at the Insitute for Arts and Therapy in Education (IATE) in London:

    • IATE (2023) MA Integrative Arts Psychotherapy
    • IATE (2022) Diploma in Integrative Arts Psychotherapy
    • IATE (2020): Postgraduate Certificate in the Therapeutic Arts

I am accredited by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and follow their standards of proficiency. I have regular supervision with a UKCP registered supervisor and am committed to ongoing professional development.
